2008 Family Retreat
Friday, May 16 - Sunday, May 18, 2008
Join us up in the high country of Arizona for a family mountain retreat. Each family will have their own individual accommodations, but we can eat meals together and do some group activities together too. This is a great chance to wind down after the school year and connect with your family and homeschooling friends.
This is still in the planning stages. We are leaning toward Greer Lodge Resort in Greer, Arizona (picture below) for the location. We need to form a committee to organize this event , as a bit of advanced planning will be required.
If you're like most families, you don't get away enough to relax and recharge. The purpose of this retreat is to give families a chance to get away from their regular routine, enjoy the great outdoors (before the Valley heat hits us), and to reinforce friendships with other homechoolers (perhaps even meeting new people we may not have met during the year).
