2009 Recognition Ceremony
Saturday, June 6, 2009
Our kids worked so hard this year. Let's let them know how much we appreciate and recognize their efforts at our annual Recognition Ceremony. Certificates will be given to all who participate. Special emphasis will be given to those who are graduating from 8th grade and from high school.
This event will open with a short motivation speech. Next, the ceremony will include the reading of a short paragraph written by the parent of each child, highlighting their achievements and accomplishments for the year. Each child will be called forward and presented with a personalized certificate. Following the ceremony, attendees will have time to view displays at the back of the room. These displays are science projects, art projects, or any other type of visual projects the students worked on during the year.
In the past, the kids really liked this event. Plus, it gave a sense of closure for the school year.
If you're interested in helping to organize this event, please let us know.
