2009/10 School Year Info

Summit View is a secular, parent-run homeschool support group serving the East Valley cities of Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Apache Junction, Gilbert, Ahwatukee and Queen Creek.  We are currently in our 10th year serving East Valley homeschoolers.  We have a full calendar for the 09/10 year. Some of our activities include "whole family" activities on days when Dads can attend, monthly park days, Mom's Nights Out, group classes, and more.

2009 Introduction to Homeschooling Workshop

welcomeWe are planning our annual Introduction to  Homeschooling Luncheon for Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the Paradise Bakery in Mesa on Val Vista and Baseline from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM. The cost is $10 per person (to cover the cost of lunch and the room).  This luncheon/workshop is for families who are new to homeschooling, as well as those who are still fairly new and have questions.  We will have a panel of veteran homeschoolers speaking about the various issues that have shaped the way they homeschool.  There will also be a question and answer session at the end to give attendees a chance to get information pertinent to their homeschooling scenario.  Click here for more details >>

Mom's Night Out

Wildflower Bread CoJoin us for a Mom's Night out on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 6:00 PM at the Wildflower Bread Company in Mesa (located at the N/W corner of Baseline and Val Vista). Actually, it's located on Baseline just a little west of Val Vista on the south side of Baseline.

Take a break from the daily grind and get together with the Summit View Moms for an evening of "Mom" time.  Come for dinner - or just for dessert and a beverage.  We'd love to see you there!
